Hosting Day Tips and Tricks
Today I’m sharing 3 naan-inspired recipes with a game day twist: Barbecue Pulled Chicken & Pickles Flatbread Tacos, Nutella & Berries Flatbread Dessert, and BLT Open-Faced Flatbread Sandwiches.
Everyone loves pizza, tacos, and a RICH chocolaty dessert, right?
Set the table
Set the table with your favorite veggie spread (we like to keep it healthy), chips and salsa and lots of dips, at least 2 main dishes, and a CHOCOLATY dessert.
Oh, and popcorn.
And drinks (seltzer, Kombucha, beer, water).
BAM – you’re there.
Make HALF-TIME your goal for serving these delicious recipes.
Stonefire Original Mini Naan Flatbread Recipes
I buy Stonefire Original Mini Naan (made with buttermilk), 18 in a pack from Costco here in Bend, Oregon. But you can also purchase Stonefire Naan at Publix, Ralphs, Ahold and Giant.
With 18 pieces, today I’m creating 3 easy recipes: Open-Face BLT Flatbread, Pulled Chicken & Pickles Flatbread Tacos, and Nutella & Berries Flatbread Dessert.
To get the party started, set the oven to 400 degrees. On 2 different cookie sheets, lay 6 flatbread on each.
Pull out the toaster for the remaining 6 flatbread.
Barbecue Pulled Chicken & Pickles Flatbread Tacos
Right before serving, toast the flatbread in the toaster; serve warm.
Allow guests to assemble with pulled chicken in barbecue sauce, pickles, microgreens, and their favorite sauce, folding ingredients in a flatbread, taco style!
BLT Open-Faced Flatbread Sandwich
Roast the flatbread with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh-chopped rosemary.
Assemble with mayo (or favorite sauce), cooked bacon, micro greens, and tomatoes.
The PERFECT open-faced BLT!
Nutella & Berries Flatbread Dessert
Roast the flatbread with butter and sea salt.
With these delicious ingredients, cut the cooked flatbread in quarters, assemble and serve!
Are you ready for an open-faced sandwich, a taco, or a BLT?
More importantly, enjoy your guests this coming Game Day!
