Gathering in the summer may be the simplest of all times to gather. We love serving a Whipped Ricotta Lemon Dip for an easy appetizer with warm bread, pita chips, crackers, and/or fresh veggies!

Whipped Ricotta Dip

This ricotta dip recipe is super easy to make. You first pour the heavy cream into a bowl and whip with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.   • Mix together in a food processor (or blender) until smooth, fluffy, and light.

Gather these ingredients:

  • Ricotta cheese
  • Lemon
  • Chopped mint or cilantro
  • Green onion
  • Fresh corn
  • Feta crumbles
  • Heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

How do you make a Whipped Ricotta Dip?

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, pour in your heavy cream and whip with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  2. Next add in the ricotta, citrus juice and zest, salt, and pepper, and continue to whip until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the corn, feta, green onion, and mint using a spatula—save some herbs and feta to garnish if desired.
  4. Serve with toasted bread, crackers, and veggies.

  • endive
  • radicchio
  • crackers
  • carrots
  • baby bell peppers
  • radishes
  • cucumber
  • crackers or sturdy chips
  • warm bread or pita chips

Pretty presentations are all about the garnish. Save some herbs and feta to add on top right before serving!

As the guests arrive, it’s all about the apps! I mean, who doesn’t love a fresh, summer appetizer?

We push past the silly thoughts and feelings and we embrace the whole point of entertaining … to welcome our guests with a full heart of love (mixed together with some really good food).

How do you serve Whipped Ricotta Lemon Dip on a board?

On a beautiful charcuterie or serving board, place the bowl of dip.

Then arrange around it endive, radicchio, your favorite crackers, and veggies (whatever is in season).

Or, warm bread, pita chips, crackers, and/or fresh veggies!

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ lemon, zested and juiced
  • ¼ cup chopped mint or cilantro, or both, loosely packed
  • ¼ cup green onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh corn, cooked and cut off the cob
  • ¼ cup feta crumbles
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground pepper
