Simple, quick, affordable … we love this simple recipe. I’ll walk you through how to make it!

- Salsa Verde (a jar of your favorite)
- Pork loin or roast
- Salt and pepper

Eating together is just so good. Taco Tuesday is a great night to toss this simple recipe into the crock pot, and have the meat ready to go for a taco board or a taco bar.
We do love a good taco board. We also love to make taco bowls, so you could add this meat and all of the taco ingredients into a bowl (minus the tortillas) and replace tortillas with taco chips! DELISH!
Here’s what I LOVE about this recipe. In the morning, you decide you want to host that night, take a 1-pound pork roast or tenderloin from the freezer, place it in the crock pot … and the rest is easy.
How to make slow cooker pork verde
- Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray and turn on HI.
- Place the frozen pork tenderloin (or roast) inside; heavily salt and pepper.
- Pour the salsa on top and cover with a lid.
- Cook on HI for 4 hours. Place the meat into a large bowl or a plate; shred with 2 forks.
Four hours later – optional to pour some of the verde into the pork to mix it in for a juicy meat if preferred.
