Wanting to plan a Supper Club + 4 Ingredient Creamy Pasta Bake recipe – an easy potluck dish to bring to a party that everyone loves!
Friends, are you new to town, wanting to get to know some new people, or wanting to invite people into your home? I’ve had a few readers reach out to me, asking if I would share details on how to set up a Supper Club. A Supper Club is a great way to foster and make new friends, and be intentional with your hospitality!
It’s also a fun way to try and taste new recipes!
But first, we hosted friends this past weekend in beautiful central Oregon.
Can the sky be any bluer? We rode bikes, went on walks, ate together, and our friends skied. We sat outside by the fire for appetizers and drinks. Pure loveliness.
4 Ingredient Creamy Pasta Bake
Since teens were in the mix, one night we served salmon, with this 4 Ingredient Creamy Pasta Bake recipe! You never know with guests who likes seafood or not, so when I know kids are coming, I like to make a variety of dishes.
DeLallo makes cooking a breeze. This recipe can be served as a main dish or a side, and it’s a great potluck dish, too.
How to plan a supper club
I know how it is when scheduling dinners in our home, how important and good it feels to get a “date on the calendar.” You have to be intentional with hospitality, and this Supper Club is a fun idea!
We always have a “theme” that our leader lets us know in advance, which gives the meal a little pizzazz, and is even more special than a regular potluck.
For example “Mexican Night,” or “Cozy Comfort Dishes,” are always big hits. We’ve enjoyed “Appetizers Only,” “Southern Cooking,” and a “Salad” theme as well.
I’ve asked around, to see what other successful groups have recommended.
Supper club tips
-Schedule the group once a month. For example, keep it consistent, like the third Thursday night of each month. With a fixed date, everyone can plan months ahead.
-Make it potluck. With potluck, you can ask each woman to bring a neighbor or friend (if you want to grow the group).
-Come up with a simple theme for each meal.
-Start a private group on Facebook where you can share all the details and recipes!
