- Apples – 1 red and 1 green apple, sliced. Leave the skins on.
How to make the best Brown Sugar Baked Brie with Pecans
- Preheat your oven to 350-F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the middle out of the round of brie with a small, sharp knife. Leave a ½-inch rim around the brie, and be careful not to break through the bottom.
- Add the melted butter, dark brown sugar, chopped pecans and dried cranberries to a small bowl and mix well. Pour this mixture into the carved-out brie wheel. Don’t worry if some spills out over the sides.
- Place the brie on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until it is puffed up and very gooey.
- Sprinkle with the chopped fresh rosemary and serve with toasted bread, gingersnaps, and sliced apples.

Brown Sugar Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. brie
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ¼ cup dark brown sugar
- ½ cup pecans chopped
- ⅓ cup dried cranberries
- Fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Serve with:
- 1 French bread, cut into 24 slices and toasted
- Gingersnap cookies
- 1 red apple, sliced
- 1 green apple, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut out the middle of the brie with a knife leaving about a ½ inch rim around the brie
- In a small bowl, add melted butter, dark brown sugar, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries and mix together with a fork. Pour the mixture into the carved out brie wheel with all of the mixture. Some of it may run over the side. Place on a baking sheet or baking dish.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
- It will puff up as the cheese melts and will be very gooey when you pull it out of the oven.
- Sprinkle lightly with fresh chopped rosemary.
- Serve with toasted bread and apple slices and gingersnap cookies.
- Keep leftover brie refrigerated.
