Let’s be real. During the holidays, we run out of time. If you’re like me, you have so many good intentions, and great ideas. But then we get busy …
Which is why I love EPIC BOARDS!
Board are casual and a great way to bring people together! Check out my Quiche Wreath Breakfast Board, if your family loves quiche like we do! [MORE INFO – where to buy the epic board, HERE.]
Options for buying or making cinnamon rolls
For this board, here’s how to prepare the cinnamon rolls ahead of time:
1. Order from a bakery, unfrosted (ask for the frosting on the side).
2. Bake your own cinnamon rolls ahead (and freeze).
3. Buy Pillsbury and bake before serving. Either use the frosting that comes with the package, or make your own. We love Cream Cheese Frosting!
How to prepare a Cinnamon Roll Board
- Prepare a large board with a lip, placing on one side a large platter with the eggs (cut in half), sausage, and bacon.
- Pour yogurt into small clear appetizer tasting cups; place a mini spoon in each. Garnish with pomegranate seeds for the holidays!
- Place the toppings and frosting in small bowls and arrange on the board.
- Fill in open areas with the large cinnamon rolls, green grapes and red berries!
- Serve mimosa beverages!
Set the table
Roll out the black and white runner (you cut it to fit the table).
Set the table with small white plates, festive napkins, and mimosa beverages!
Everyone digs in
Everyone frosts their own cinnamon roll, and adds their favorite toppings.
Then serves themselves with eggs, sausage, bacon and fruit.
Perfect Christmas breakfast!
Life-giving magic
There is always life-giving magic that happens in our home around the table. The holidays are even more special.
I’m not sure if it’s the Christmas music in the background (a constant reminder for the reason of the season). Or that it’s cold and snowy outside, or everyone seems happier.
But probably … it’s because we are all just together. :)
People feel known and loved and like they’re a part of something.
We truly love being a part of their lives.
And I’m thankful I can be a part of your life.
Cheers!
