Delicious on tacos or any Mexican food dish, or served with your favorite chips, enjoy this Fresh Peach Salsa With Mint–a big party hit!
Friends, it’s time to transition from summer to fall, gracefully. I say gracefully, because it doesn’t happen overnight, but there are so many more hospitable moments that we can enjoy.
There are still so many summer fruits and vegetables to enjoy, too, like this fresh Fresh Peach Salsa with Mint.
Chips and Salsa
Delicious served with your favorite chips! The weekends just call for chips and salsa, wouldn’t you say? (Don’t forget this fun entertaining idea: Epic Chips and Salsa Board.)
The French call transitioning from summer to fall la rentree scolaire, which is basically back to school season! They have a well-established re-entry time, from summer to fall, after a nice long vacation.
Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?
I feel we’ve been on vacation a bit this summer, with so many friends coming and going. In the midst of it all, we’re still working, but in the evening enjoying delicious meals on our front deck.
Fresh Peach Salsa With Mint
This Peach Salsa you can make ahead and keep in the fridge.
Guests are coming for dinner? Pull out of fridge and serve with your favorite chips and wine.
We also served this on the side with Best Grilled Rockfish Tacos last week.
With the long, lazy days of summer ending, I always get a little sad. Yesterday I took my daughter to the airport for a brief trip (it was 36 degrees!), :o0 and when she returns, we only have one week with her before she heads back to Seattle for her last year in college.
Mixed feelings! The end of summer, and yet, an excitement in the air for the cool, shorter days of fall.
For now, I’ll stick with fresh peaches and pears, as I’ll be sharing some delicious recipes coming up.
Peaches, for the end of summer.
Pears for …. beautiful fall.
ENJOY!
