how to make Honey Crisp Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients for Ladyfinger Crostini with apples & goat cheese

  • Ladyfingers: we use DeLallo’s Savoiardi Ladyfingers
  • Honey Crisp apple
  • Goat cheese: make sure it’s soft
  • Honey: just enough for a drizzle
  • Spicy pecans: we buy at Trader Joe’s but any pecans will do, as long as toasted
  • Fresh rosemary

Here’s how to make the lady finger crostini

  1. Lay each ladyfinger out on a serving tray. Spread each one with softened goat cheese.

  3. Drizzle with honey; sprinkle with chopped pecans and fresh rosemary.

Honey Crisp and Goat Cheese Ladyfinger Crostini Appetizer

Honey Crisp and Goat Cheese Ladyfinger Crostini Appetizer

We served this delicious Honey Crisp and Goat Cheese Ladyfinger Crostini Appetizer at a dinner party. Our guests were in for a great surprise, with a mouthful of pure happiness! Ladyfingers (Savoiardi in Italian) are small, delicate sponge cakes that are shaped like large, fat fingers. HA. They’re a great substitute for a baguette!

It’s also the season for cooking with pears and apples, as they’ve never tasted better. Mix in goat cheese, honey, pecans, and my favorite “winter herb,”—rosemary on delicious ladyfingers. And if you want to make a dessert, this Chocolate Mousse Cake with Ladyfingers is a must-make!

Set this plate of goodness out, and it will be devoured before you know it!
