Friends, this week we are hosting a small gathering, and will serve a small charcuterie board. Yes, I love to make my epic charcuterie board for large parties, but for a small dinner party, a smaller one is perfect. Grab THE BIG BOARD details below!

Recently my friend Lori (RecipeGirl) and I were made a fun video together!

We took the footage and made a longer video for you to watch. Of course we had fun along the way, and honestly, we did not know that we’d be actually posting a video. So enjoy … we had a few good laughs. HA.

Festive - How to Charcuterie!

How to charcuterie

Watch the video and we’ll show you “how to charcuterie” for the holidays!

Always start with a center star dish, which in this case we made an easy brie for the middle of the board.

Think holiday … what is festive and in season? Grapes and pomegranates and fig jam!

Add your favorite meats and cheese.

Don’t forget the nuts – pistachios and marcona almonds!

Entertaining during the holidays

The holiday festivities have begun in our home and I’m very excited.

For me personally, the more I have people into my home, connecting with friends and family, the happier I am.

But I’m reminded that not everyone feels the same way that I do! I recently heard from a friend who follows me on Instagram: “We live in a very social community, and being a self-diagnosed introvert, entertaining scares me a little. Once everybody is here, I’m ok. I have to start early ..I cant just whip stuff up..that’s why your blog is terrific..helps me with ideas!”

The Big Board

Friends, The Big Board is here! Yes, I’ve partnered with JK Adams, the premier woodmaking company in Vermont, with my own line of RE boards!

  • 20-inch
  • 26-inch
  • A board with a lip (or raised edged) so the food doesn’t fall off
  • FOOD SAFE
  • Made in the USA
  • Undercut handles (a unique design)

Thank you for your support, as we’ve sold out so many times already!

Order The Big Board today before the holidays!

I read a study that Good Housekeeping shared: The more often women have dinner with their families, the more satisfied they are overall. And those who see friends and entertain at least every few months are more content in general.

I love this. It is indeed true in my life. Community is so important to me, and I know my readers here on RE feel the same.
