There are so many cute owl figures in the stores right now, plus I’m crushing big time on the big White Owl that lives in the trees behind our house. We haven’t heard him hoo-hooing in a while, but we know he’s there.

Shopping is really easy and FUN over at Minted, especially if you’re thinking about hosing a party!
Inspired by owls, I found the cutest OWL-O-WEEN invites by artist Bethany Anderson.
I also ordered the wine tabs, which we used for apple cider, served in wine glasses. In fact, you can check out all their party packages that they offer.
You can also customize a banner!
Haggis (our Cairn Terrier – aka Toto) wasn’t too sure he was ready for Halloween this year.
Set out black cloth napkins.
Apple cider and water for drinks, but you could surely add wine or even make a hot cider.
Fresh veggies, apple slices, and these yummy, scrumptious cookies. We had friends bring other appetizers as well.
No-Bake Peanut Butter Coconut Cookies.
These cookies take NO time to make.
No baking! And, today is National M&M Day!
You can even pick out the brown, yellow, and orange M&M’s if you have the time, to make them very Halloween-ish!
I love this beautiful piece, that I’ll be using in different areas throughout my house.

What simple recipe will you make for Halloween this year?
No-Bake Peanut Butter Coconut Cookies
- 1 cup dry oatmeal I used old-fashioned
- 1 cup coconut
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup baking M&Ms
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- With a medium (1-inch) cookie scoop, scoop and roll the balls and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate and store in an airtight container. Good for about 1 week.
- Makes 24 balls.
