Nutella Berry Bruschetta Recipe
I say any time of year is great for making a delicious appetizer or dessert like this, because you can pretty much get berries all year round now in grocery stores. And if you’re like our family, you buy bulk Nutella (LOL).
Everyone loves Nutella Berry Bruschetta!
We are big fans of Nutella, which is why I love this recipe so much. :)
How to make Nutella Bruschetta
- Butter each slice of bread and broil; allow to cool slightly.
- Top each piece of bread with a generous smear of Nutella, a few fresh berries, an herb garnish, a sprinkle of sliced almonds, and a pinch of sea salt to accentuate the flavor!
It’s a lovely dessert to serve, and it’s not only casual, but it’s elegant.
You can also make it ahead and bring to a party!
Make a dinner invitation
I definitely have spring fever, so I’m all about connection right now. Besides, hosting a little party makes me spruce up my home a little, look for the dust bunnies and the plants that are dead (goodbye dead plants), and maybe add some fresh Trader Joe’s flowers.
Make that invitation and start planning your menu!
But first, do you feel you have to do it all?
As I say often on RE, you don’t have to do it all. Delegation is key.
What about when people ask what they can bring?
I get asked all the time, What do you do when people ask what they can bring to the dinner?
Really it’s up to each individual (and personality). Honestly, I like it when people contribute. It gets expensive hosting as much as we do, and I feel that guests are more than generous in contributing one or two items, even a bottle of wine.
This day and age, I want to encourage as much hospitality as we can put forth, because people need people. So don’t feel like you have to do it all.
I really love to cook, and I like to be in control over the menu. I don’t know about you, but I like to be specific about what guests should bring.
For instance, I don’t just say, bring a salad. That could mean pasta, fruit, or green salad. Be specific about the kind of salad you want your guests to bring.
If we’re short on time though, or if it’s a potluck, then set the theme and throw out ideas to people for what they can bring!
Why delegation matters
In my experience, everyone is always happy to be able to contribute a dish and/or a drink to share.
1. You don’t have to do it all.
2. Saves on your pocketbook.
3. People want to contribute, and in this day and age they expect to contribute.
4. It shows people that hosting is not that hard when you don’t have to do it all.
5. Connection and eating together will happen more often when you have the mindset of delegation,.
So don’t hesitate to make the meal a team effort, Friends.
Then you can throw a quick dessert together like this Nutella Berry Bruschetta Recipe!
