These Raspberry Lemon Cream Galettes are an excellent light dessert for a Cinco de Mayo party, served along side Q Squared NYC ‘s Talavera Collection!

Raspberry Lemon Cream Galettes

I like to think about entertaining as a way to live a more generous, full life. It’s a way to bring close friends, old friends, or new friends together, to relax, enjoy, and share!

I’m big on delegation, and having guests contribute to the meal, which is where the sharing comes in!

Cinco de Mayo.

With Cinco de Mayo almost here, now’s the time to start thinking about your menu and a festive table setting!

We create a lovely setting, invite friends in, everyone contributes and we enjoy delicious food together.

We fill up on friendship and love, encouragement and inspiration.

Talavera Collection.

With my friends at Q Squared, NYC, I recently set a table using their new dish hammered texture line, Talavera Collection.

And, by the way, their product may look like fine china, but it’s 100% highest quality melamine, dishwasher safe (top and bottom rack), heat resistant, and best of all lightweight and durable!

With this beautiful new pattern, it was a given that I’d use their Provence Red flatware and red cloth napkins!

Set the table.

In a small glass vessel I placed dry black beans, and dug up a few succulents from the backyard.

And we always seem to end the party with some tasty treat.
