Embrace the every day moments
Today we have the choice to embrace the every day moments, and make the best of our current situation. To LOVE from afar (for me, online, texting, sending cards, calling friends) and just keeping in touch!
Keep a hopeful message going, and know that very soon, we will all be able to welcome people into our homes again!
We have a chance right now to see the real version of ourselves. We have time to pray, adjust, listen, be present … and wait.
It’s not bad, but good.
Having people into our homes gives us the opportunity to be real, authentic with our cooking and our families, and to create a space that is safe and where others can be vulnerable.
Even online (my blog here) being vulnerable is worth the risk!
How to make an Easter snack board
- With your favorite spring cookie cutters (eggs, chicks, bunnies, flowers), cut out cheese and ham slices.
- Arrange the jam, ranch dressing, peanut butter, and hummus in small bowls and put on the board.
- Fill a bowl for the center with Easter candy. Place the Ritz crackers around it.
- Fill in the remaining areas with veggies, ham, and cheese. Lastly, lay down fresh strawberries and serve!
Easter snack boards are the best. Think of foods that your kids love … dipping carrot sticks into ranch dressing, or celery into peanut butter.
Everyone loves Easter candy.
And enjoy making your own bunny or chick Ritz sandwiches!
