Salami Chips

If you love baked chips, or even Baked Sweet Potato Chips, then you’ll love these Baked Salami Chips! They are crisp, tasty, salty (yum), and full of flavor. Dip them into your favorite dip or mustard and ENJOY! This salami chips recipe has been on our blog since November 2013.
Salami Chips
Baked salami appetizers are one of my guilty pleasures. I love to bake ahead, and serve on a charcuterie board. This easy baked salami is a great appetizer to make ahead and perfect for large gatherings. If you’re a salami lover, you may also love these Salami Wrapped Pepperoncini Rollups!
All you need is one simple ingredient to bake the chips: salami. And then of course your favorite mustards for dipping! It’s optional to also add a sprinkle of brown sugar, for Baked Salami with brown sugar.
Appetizers are always my favorite part of the meal and these “baked chips” really add to a cheese platter or charcuterie board. This recipe is fabulous served on an epic charcuterie board or charcuterie/cheese boards, too. Any season, they are so good. But especially fall, for tailgating season or falltime parties.

Gather these ingredients and supplies
All you need is a package of salami slices!
Also you will need a baking sheet, with paper towels (to absorb the grease when baking).
Mustard: add your favorite mustard, or several kinds.
How do you make baked salami chips?
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Lay salami pieces out on a baking stone or sheet.
- Bake and remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Place a paper towel over the salami pieces to soak up the oils.
- Allow the salami pieces to cool. Stack together and place in a bowl and serve with a favorite mustard or dip.
- Perfect served on a charcuterie board!

I learned this little trick awhile back, and it’s always a hit now at dinner parties.

Baked Salami Chips
Ingredients
- 2 8 oz thin salami slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Lay salami pieces out on a baking stone or sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked. The baking sheet will heat up with each batch, so you may need to decrease baking time.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Place a paper towel over the salami pieces to soak up the oils.
- Allow the salami pieces to cool. Stack together and place in a bowl and serve with a favorite mustard or dip.
IF there are left over salami chips, how should I store them?
I haven’t had any leftover … I would say fridge (cuz meat). ??
