This is a fun recipe to get the kids in the kitchen to help you create. Everyone loves Salami Blueberry Pepperoncini Rollups!
Salami Blueberry Appetizer
These little bites of salami are a family favorite appetizers! We served them outside, and they are always fun to serve over the Fourth of July. They are a big hit with our friends. Plus, they take no time to make!
Why I love this recipe
- Only takes minutes to make, and you can make them ahead & keep in the fridge.
- The combination of pepperoncinis and blueberries is delightful (and surprising to guests).
- SImple ingredients (only 4).
Gather these ingredients
- Slices of salami
- Pepperoncini
- Cream cheese
- Fesh blueberries
How to assemble salami blueberry appetizer:
It’s easy as 1,2,3 … and grab some toothpicks and 5 minutes of your time!
- Spread softened cream cheese on each piece of salami.
- Layer the pepperoncini slices and a couple of blueberries on top.
- Fold together and skewer with a toothpick to keep together.
Tips and substitutions:
- Swap out the blueberries for any kind of berry (a small piece of strawberry, raspberry, or a blackberry).
- Use a flavored cream cheese or even Boursin (for more savory).
- Use pickles if you don’t like pepperoncinis.
- Keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours, so easy to make for a party.
- Store any leftovers in the fridge (because of the cream cheese).
- Use cute holiday themed toothpicks (example, for Fourth of July, use little flag toothpicks).
If you’re hosting, and running out of time, have one of your guests or family members assemble.
This rollup snack and appetizer is such a hit, you’ll have so many people requesting you make these every time they come over!
Easy to make (10 minutes) and even easier to enjoy! Oh, and about in 10 minutes, too!
