Goat Cheese Apricot Jam Appetizer
One of the easiest recipes for any season of entertaining is to serve this Goat Cheese Apricot Jam Appetizer, topped with a fresh herb!
I like to think of dinner invites as making a place in our home and our hearts and around our table for people.
Sometimes we invite our friends over with only a few hours notice. Usually I have a plan in place, like I know that I have salmon or chicken in the fridge, and I can come up with a meal quick and easy.
When it comes to appetizers, I really like to prepare something that takes only a few minutes, like our Goat Cheese with Apricot Jam Appetizer or Goat Cheese Honeycrisp Apples (another fave).
We are going to miss our dear friends here in Medford. I get nostalgic when I think about the deep conversations that have taken place in our home. Our table has always been a place of rest and soul nourishment, combined with good food. I say good food, not always my cooking, as we always delegate–everyone contributes. I can’t say enough about the menus we’ve shared over the years!
The table is a place where we connect and belong.
It is a place where the past remains alive, and the future sparkles with possibility.
We lean in to one another, and cherish those who are with us. We also learn to “feel.” It’s hard to be present and not feel, when you or your friends are pouring out your hearts.
Some say there is no way to love someone more than to feed them well.

Wanted inspiration for the apricot jam I made yesterday – as an appetizer for the family bbq this afternoon – found your page and just finished reading your poetic words – simply lovely.
Where did you find those crackers?? Very unique.
I found the crackers at our local Fred Meyer (Krogers). :)
What kind of crackers are they, and where did you find them? They’re beautiful!
Best wishes on your move ~ Bend is lucky to be getting you guys!
LeAnn, the brand is “Natural” and I got them at either Fred Meyer or a local store in Medford called 99 .. I can’t remember which one!
