Holiday gatherings are so special, whether it’s baking a beloved family recipe or inviting friends over for a casual meal. What I love is that once we’re all together, it brings a sigh of relief as a hostess to be able to just sit back and enjoy.

There’s no better way to welcome your guests for a cozy holiday gathering than to have the perfect appetizer and drinks waiting for them when they arrive. These Marmalade Pistachio Brie Mini Tartlets are easy to make ahead with Athens Mini Fillo Shells, and then pop in the oven when the guests arrive.

Being organized, coming up with a menu, and getting the prep done for the meal are all necessary, but for me, another aspect of hosting is practicing gratitude while I’m in the process. One way to express gratitude is to invite people into our homes.

I’ve also found that my positive attitude has a powerful effect and sets the tone for the entire party!

For me, hosting is a great way of saying thanks to people we love (new and old friends, neighbors and even new neighbors, and sometimes strangers). So I’m starting off the party right with these Marmalade Pistachio Brie Mini Tartlets.

Then grab a board or tray for plating. I’m a lucky girl, as my hubby recently made me this beautiful wood cutting board, which I love for serving tasty treats.

Right out of the oven, serve these treats hot with your favorite holiday beverage!

Each dish you offer is like handing your guests the perfect gift.
