Serving Suggestions
This salmon pairs beautifully with:
- Steamed jasmine or brown rice
- Coconut rice
- Grilled asparagus
- Roasted broccoli – or Marry Me Broccoli
- Sautéed green beans
- Grilled zucchini
- Cucumber salad
- Fresh summer corn
- A crisp green Iceberg salad
Garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or extra chopped pickled ginger for even more flavor.

Tips & Substitutions
- Use your favorite cherry preserve. Tart cherry jam, spicy cherry relish, or even cherry preserves all work well.
- No food processor? Finely chop the ginger and dried cherries by hand and stir everything together.
- Adjust the heat. If using spicy cherry relish, add more or less depending on your preferred spice level.
- Use fresh or frozen salmon. Just thaw frozen fillets completely before baking.
- Don’t overcook the salmon. Start checking around 12 minutes. The salmon should flake easily while remaining moist.
- Try it on the grill. Cook the salmon on cedar planks or in a grill basket, brushing with extra glaze during the last few minutes.
