Gather these ingredients

- Fig spread
- Sharp cheddar cheese
- Shredded gruyere cheese
- Butter
How to make breakfast sliders with Hawaiian rolls
Make the scrambled eggs:
- Add eggs to blender
- Add a tiny bit of water and blend
- Salt right away and cook on LOW (even though it may take longer, your eggs will be way
- softer the longer you cook them)
- Under cook – you won’t be sorry!Add cracked pepper right before serving!
How to make egg sliders:
- Spread the fig jam onto the bottom of the Hawaiian dinner rolls.
- Layer on the ham slices, followed by the eggs and sliced cheese, then top with the remaining rolls.
- Brush the tops with the melted butter and sprinkle with the gruyere cheese.
- Cover with a piece of parchment, followed by foil, and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly golden.
Tips and substitutions:
- For the easiest assembly, keep the rolls intact by slicing through the center to separate the tops from the bottoms.
- We recommend under-scrambling your eggs a bit, to ensure they retain some moisture during baking. There’s nothing worse than dry eggs!
- You can swap out the fig jam for any flavor of jam, or even use maple syrup.
- Optional to use regular dinner rolls, but we love the Hawaiian because it adds a bit of sweetness!
- Make ahead, cool, and freeze individual servings for “breakfast on the go.”

Sandy! Yum!! I love this twist on the ham and cheese sliders you often see.
Near our place in the mountains is a company that makes country ham proscuitto. I’m thinking it might be wonderful in this recipe! :)
Blessings to you, friend.
