Lox and Bagels Board

This post, How to Create a DIY Lox and Bagels Board, gives a shopping list, and a quick link to a great board to use!

Plus … take a peek at ou NEW fire bowl in our backyard!

We recently purchased a new fire pit for our back deck that I’m very excited about. Yes, even in February, when it’s freezing cold.

We put it together, and out of the blue … people started gathering! :)

How to Create a DIY Lox and Bagels Board

But first. A breakfast board. Breakfast boards are fun for the weekends, or if out-of-town guests show up!

This spread today is on my smaller board (grab the affiliate link), which I love. Of course, it has a lip around it, so the food does not fall off.

Creating an epic bagel board is easy! You can make it really big (on these boards), or grab the link to this 20” board below.

  • Ripe tomatoes

Coral Coast Tucson 36″ Fire Bowl

New fire bow (pit), HERE.

We did our research, and my friend Laurel told me we really needed at least 50,000 BTU. I love it when a friend does the research for you :) So we found this beauty at

We did buy the propane hideaway table, where you can store and connect the tank. It’s very classy!

It’s durable and lightweight. It has a spark-ignition button that lights the stainless-steel burner (no odors, no flames!)

NOTE: I’ll be sharing about the black chairs NEXT WEEK!

Outdoor fire bowl overview

  • 70,000 BTU maximum output
  • Bowl crafted from taupe Envirostone

Bring interesting people to your fire

I love this quote:

“You don’t have to say everything to be a light. Sometimes a fire built on a hill will bring interested people to your campfire.” — Shannon L. Alder

So it might be a little chilly for this board right now, but come spring and summer, you’ll find us all times of day or night around this fire!

As with any fire, or any board … set it out, and they will come!

Here’s a 20-inch board [the one I used in this post]   with a lip that we found at Target, perfect for this size meal.

Or, if you’re looking for the EPIC board, all the information is in this post!

Happy hosting this weekend!
