Holiday Charcuterie Board Appetizers
Friends, we’re all about bringing people together, and showing easy ways to host a party! I think you’re really going to love these Holiday Charcuterie Board Appetizer ideas!
Are you looking to serve a variety of charcuterie boards, but you don’t want to spend the money on the actual boards?
You will love these beautiful, inexpensive hammered aluminum trays that make the food and table so beautiful.
I’ve also used the pie shaped dishes in many of my epic charcuterie boards, too.
Planning a party with Canary and King
We get it, planning a party can feel intimidating—no matter the season. It’s easy to feel stuck when choosing the menu, especially with so many different diets today. But an “appetizer party” is a casual way to host, with a little bit of food for everyone.
I’ve pulled together three different appetizer platters—one meat and cheese, one veggies and fruit, and one antipasti—for you to borrow from or build on this season.
A cheese ball is a great idea for this time of year, too. You can make this Smoky Cheese Ball or this Easy Feta Cheese Ball Appetizer!

Easy entertaining tips
Here are a few basic guidelines for setting a table:
- Consider the guest count, and what kind of party you are hosting. Serving boards and charcuteries are a casual way to set the food out and let everyone serve themselves. Perfect for the holidays!
- Determine how you will serve the food, and how much food to make.
- Are you serving appetizers before a full meal? Or are the appetizers the main meal? This will determine how many people the platters will feed.
- Add styling elements that bring in texture and color. We love the black and white striped runner, with a classic black and white napkins.
- Get creative and bring the table to life!
Take stock of what you already own!
Remember Canary and King makes entertaining affordable, and offers great options of serveware.
