Friends, are you ready for the weekend? All the days are melding together for me, but I do know that today is Friday! Many of the 4 things I’ve learned in 2020 (back in January this year), are still true today in quarantine life!

Family Movie Night Snack Board

Let me guess. You’re celebrating a movie night with the family this weekend!? Since we’re all at home now, why not plan one special night where you pull out all the stops, and serve your family’s favorite snacks? If you’re running to Trader Joe’s, here’s a fun board to make: Trader Joe’s Frozen Treats Board.

Snack boards are a fun, easy way to entertain and serve for a movie night!

This time we prepared a grazing board with some good to snacks for any movie night. Of course, size your board to the number in your family. Or, save this idea for a kid’s birthday, too!

What are good snacks for a movie night?

  • Ritz crackers
  • Goldfish crackers
  • Popcorn
  • Swedish fish
  • Junior Mints
  • Peanut M&Ms
  • Apples, sliced
  • Red grapes

  • Oranges

What should I serve at a movie party?

Besides a snack board, here are a few recipes to serve that are crowd pleasers:

Ham Pesto Sliders

Cuban Sliders

Martha Stewart has some great snacks for movie night!

Anyway, we have a big project coming up in our kitchen this weekend. We are organizing our pantry. We got some cool stuff from MDesigns and I’ll be sharing the progress on my Instagram stories.

28-inch Charcuterie Board

Friends, here are the boards that I LOVE. A “lip” is the secret to the best charcuterie or dinner board, because the food does not fall off. [This post has affiliate links. Every purchase from these links supports RE at no extra cost to you. Thank you!]

SMALL Hand-Carved Gabrielle Tray (gray) – 18 inches.

Rememember it says it is “not food safe,” so you need to prepare the board by either laying down parchment paper under the food, or you can “season” it like we did.

How to season a Charcuterie Board

If a wood board says it “not food safe,” you can lightly sand it down with sand paper, and rub down with beeswax and mineral oil.

Follow along how to season a charcuterie board for the details, but we used this butcher block and cutting board oil conditioner after we lightly sanded the board down.

Everyday Enamelware Serving Tray

Today I’m using an Everyday Enamelware Serving Tray by LeCreuset!

It has a porcelain enamel durable coating, easy to clean, it’s shatterproof, and resistant to stains, scratches and rust. YAY!

It’s also lightweight and versatile, and I LOVE IT.

Did I mention, it’s food safe?

Use it for a tray to carry food or glasses to your deck, or as a food board!
