Smash Burger Sauce
At the end of the day, special sauce is a condiment in our household for burgers, fries, sandwiches, you name it. Traditionally it’s special, because it’s a family recipe, similar to Thousand Island dressing with mayo, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish. Also for this easy smash burger sauce recipe, it’s optional to add relish to this sauce, but you can also add just the pickle juice.

I made it. Used apple cider vinegar instead of pickle juice. Added some onion powder. I used smoked paprika but next time I will cut it back a bit. It was very tasty.
Lol. that’s funny. My hubby makes this (as a dialed down version) for he and the kids every time we have burgers and my homemade oven french fries. He only uses ketchup and mayo. BUT… they have it down to a science and truly get to take turns for the taste test to see if it’s just right. I wonder what they would think of yours.
Yum. My girls like to add some mustard to theirs as well.
