I love a good sweet dip for holiay parties. This Hot Cocoa Dip is great to make and serve on the Big Board with snacks, fruit, and cookies. Made with fluffy cream cheese, Marshmallow Fluff, and hot cocoa mix, it’s topped with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and festive sprinkles for an irresistible presentation.

How to make Hot Cocoa Dip

  1. Beat the cream cheese and Marshmallow Fluff (in a large bowl) on medium-high speed until light and fluffy – 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the hot cocoa mix, cream, and cocoa powder and beat on low speed for another 2 minutes, until combined. Then, turn it up to high and continue to beat for another 3 minutes until mixed and fluffy. 
  3. Transfer the dip (using a scrapper) to a small serving bowl. Top with a cup of already whipped cream, a few mini marshmallows, a few peppermint sprinkles, and a few mini chocolate chips. 
  4. Serve with cookies on the BIG BOARD – easy and fun for dipping!
  5. Enjoy!

Tips & substitutions

  • Add ⅛ tsp. Peppermint extract to the dip and top with crushed candy canes for a refreshing holiday twist.
  • Add ⅛ tsp. Coconut extract to the dip, then top with toasted coconut flakes and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  • Mix in a few drops of red or green food coloring to the whipped cream for a festive touch that kids will love!
  • Leave toppings off the top and serve any time of year.
