Tater Tots Snack Board
Today, enjoy a Tater Tots Board for the weekend, which is fun for movie night, or game night snacks! You can also make my Family Movie Night Snack Board, and let your family choose their favorite snacks and movie.
What are tater tots?
Tater tots are made from grated and deep-fried potatoes. They are often served as a side dish, or a snack, and very popular served with take-out hamburgers. “Tater” is short for potato. Find them in the freezer case at your local grocery!
Tots are very similar to hash browns, with their only difference the shape – hash browns are flat, while tots are cylindrical.
Here’s what you need for this board:
- Tater tots and onion rings
- Fresh grapes
- Carrot sticks and bell pepper slices
- Ketchup and Ranch dressing
New pantry organization with mDesign
We’re so excited we finally got our pantry organized. Our kitchen is done (I’ll be posting all the details soon), and we’re just in the process of finishing the nook area.
I took the traditional nook and decided to turn it into a more practical area. I can’t wait for you to see.
In the meantime, I want to introduce you to mDesign, who helped us organize our pantry!
But first, this amazing brand is donating 10% of net website profits to Feeding America’s Covid-19 Response Fund. We are so thankful to be a part of this.
How to organize a kitchen pantry
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and without the organization of snacks and food, this area becomes very chaotic.
mDesign has 8 Easy Ways to Organize Your Pantry! While we are all at home, why not tackle that to-do list that has been percolating in the back of your mind? Now is the time to get to all those tasks that we have put off for a rainy day. Today is the day!
mDesign for home organization
The first thing we did was stabilize all the shelving, after one disastrous crash of the entire pantry when the shelving wasn’t originally installed correctly.
I love having a handyman in the house.
Again, click on over to their website and organize the space you’ve been wanting to organize!
Tots Snack Board Recipe
So this weekend, get your TOTS baking in the oven (also onion rings, fries, or whatever your family loves), and don’t forget your favorite dipping sauces.
And by the way, what is your favorite dipping sauce to use with tater tots?
Dipping sauces for tater tots
- Fry sauce
- Ketchup (most popular)
- Barbecue sauce
- Ranch dressing
- We love Stonewall Kitchen Smoky Barbecue Aioli (so good)
- Guacamole
- Salsa
If you live in Bend, Oregon, Newport Avenue Market has a huge selection of aioli sauce. You can also make your own.
Oh, and you can make your own homemade tater tots, too!
Boards are a casual way to host. You can make them super big (epic), or you can scale to size according to the mouths you are feeding.
What I love about boards is that they are not about perfection. Set that aside, and make them your own.
Make them fun and flavorful and ENJOY!
