Bacon Pear Cobb Salad Recipe is a delicious side, lunch, or main dish salad with slices of pears, avocados, eggs, and blue cheese dressing!
After a wonderful weekend with out-of-town friends, enjoying the beautiful outdoors here in central Oregon, we ate a simple Pear Cobb Salad for dinner. It was made with sweet Bartlett Pears and crisp bacon, so delicious topped with Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing! And I’m also dying to try this Lobster Cobb Salad!

Juicy Pear Tablescape
But first, I want to take you back to my backyard in Medford, Oregon. I like to call this my “Juicy Pear Tablescape.”
I truly miss the southern Oregon colors this year, not quite as vibrant here in Bend. But … not enough to go back. We love it here so much! :) But we do miss our loved ones and friends a lot.
For the table details, using chalkboard boxes for the centerpieces, write cute sayings: Juicy pears, So juicy, Comice, Bartlett, etc.
I ran one large piece of chalkboard paper down the center of the table.
Set the table with Dollar Store black plates, glass salad plates, drinking glasses, Mikasa chalkboard wine glasses.
How to make a Bacon Pear Cobb Salad
Now for our simple salad, after a full weekend of nature and great friends. My love cup is full! :)
Add pear branches in each centerpiece box, placing 1-2 pears in each.
For the salad, cook the quantity bacon, drain and set aside.
Chop the remaining ingredients. (Need a quick way for soft cooked eggs?)
Layer on a beautiful platter. Serve the dressing on the side!
Whether a lunch, a side salad for a lighter dinner, or a side for a brunch, for fall, we love this salad made with juicy pears!
I’ve shared a Shrimp Cobb Salad, and a Salmon Nicoise Salad here on RE, but you can get creative with any kind of fruit, or dried fruit (cranberries, cherries, blueberries?)
If you aren’t a fan of bacon, you can add some ham or leftover chicken, or forget the meat all together and make it a vegetarian dish.
Happy “pear” entertaining, Friends!
