Try something new
One of the things I’ve been doing every day is walking. Even on vacation I walk, walk, walk. I track my miles with my iWatch and I love walking in new places!
I think we get in ruts doing the same thing, walking the same walks, inviting the same people to dinner.
Try something new, friends!
Boards are casual
We even forget to try new recipes, or even new ways to host. I’ve very much been into serving boards for dinner (are you surprised?), and it’s been so fun.
Like a new season of hosting for me.
Boards are easy and casual, too. On a larger scale, try my Epic Bacon Wedge Salad Board. I have so many ideas on Instagram [ @ReluctantEntertainer ] and on my blog, but I read this quote the other day.
We can’t take any credit for our talents. It’s how we use them that counts. —Madeleine L’Engle
Yes, so true.
Make an invite
Make a deliberate invite today. Maybe make it for a luncheon, and serve this Shrimp Wedge Salad Charcuterie Board (serves 6). Or, you may want to serve on a tray/platter a Burrata Chopped Salad Board, Bowtie Italian Pasta Salad in Jars Or, this Fully Loaded Wedge Salad Recipe.
I love sharing my ideas with my people here on RE!
Hosting for me is joyous and beautiful, a great way to get to know people, to sit around the table (cell phones put away), and connect!
This tray above is sold out, but you can grab my board links below!
PS. Grab the recipe to make your own Best Thousand Island Dressing, or … it’s okay to use store bought! :)
Our beautiful world offers us so much, so whether you’re out on a walk with a friend (or your sister), or inviting a few new ladies over for lunch … savor it all.
We never know how much we will impact one another!
