We’re sharing our tips on many recipes, plus how to set out the food, and when to serve the food. Take the pressure off of yourself, is my biggest tip for the host. With Super Bowl Sunday – everyone usually contributes and brings a recipes. This makes it so much easier. But then again, you do need to gather up your favorite recipes to make your big “splash.” Which is why I love a board.

What I love about ham sliders
Sliders are the perfect finger food for any get-together! They are meant to be shareable, and are so tasty! You can make them ahead, and the pop them in the oven right before it’s half-time.
Bake these wonderful little ham sliders until the cheese melts. The leftovers store well in the fridge, and they make a lovely cold snack. If you haven’t tried my recipe, try it, here: Ham Pesto Onion Cheese Poppyseed Sliders.

How do you host a Super Bowl party?
- Let everyone know when the party starts and what to bring! Ask if there are any food allergies.
- Delegation is the key to a successful party. Ask your guests to each bring a dish and what they want to drink, and you can fill in the menu with other recipes. You’ll soon have a huge spread of delicious foods to enjoy!
- Most people serve starters the minute that guests arrive, and then maybe dishes of more substance (like a pot of chili, tacos, baked chicken wings recipe, etc) would be served at half time. But for your party – anything goes!
- Make sure you have a big table cleared off for all the food.

Keep it simple, sister! (KISS) with these essentials:
- Paper Napkins (set out plenty!)
- Cup Holder (and Sharpie) so guests can write their name on their cup
- Large paper plates
- Small plates (if serving a charcuterie board and for dessert)
- Ice bucket for drinks

Buy the big boards (various sizes) in different colors, HERE.
Simply double or triple the amount here (serve on different sizes of boards) if you have a lot of people coming! The “gray” board in the photos was from 6 years ago, no longer in stock (and it was not food safe). Our new boards are all FOOD SAFE & perfect for entertaining.
