What I love about ham sliders

Sliders are the perfect finger food for any get-together! They are meant to be shareable, and are so tasty! You can make them ahead, and the pop them in the oven right before it’s half-time.

Bake these wonderful little ham sliders until the cheese melts. The leftovers store well in the fridge, and they make a lovely cold snack. If you haven’t tried my recipe, try it, here: Ham Pesto Onion Cheese Poppyseed Sliders.

How do you host a Super Bowl party?

  • Let everyone know when the party starts and what to bring! Ask if there are any food allergies.
  • Delegation is the key to a successful party. Ask your guests to each bring a dish and what they want to drink, and you can fill in the menu with other recipes. You’ll soon have a huge spread of delicious foods to enjoy!
  • Most people serve starters the minute that guests arrive, and then maybe dishes of more substance (like a pot of chili, tacos, baked chicken wings recipe, etc) would be served at half time. But for your party – anything goes!
  • Make sure you have a big table cleared off for all the food.

Keep it simple, sister! (KISS) with these essentials:

  • Paper Napkins (set out plenty!)
  • Cup Holder (and Sharpie) so guests can write their name on their cup
  • Large paper plates
  • Small plates (if serving a charcuterie board and for dessert)
  • Ice bucket for drinks
